People Soup

Ingredients for a better work life from behavioural science and beyond.

About the show

I want to help you navigate the daily challenges of work with behavioural science.

More than ever the world of work is a heady mix of people, behaviour, events and challenges. My mission is to share practical skills, perspectives and insights to help you be the person you’d like to be more often at work and beyond.

Our guests include authors of notable books, pioneering researchers and experts in a variety of fields. Many guests are experts in ACT or complementary approaches and there is always something useful for the workplace. Typically, there are two episodes for each guest. In the first episode you’ll get to know a bit more about them and their career paths. In the second episode we focus on their specialist area, research or book. My style of interviewing is also founded in ACT.

There are occasional shorter episodes, or “cup-a-soups”, which are more focussed on specific skills or topics.
